Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events Presentation

The Pflugerville Police Department will lead a two hour presentation that will show citizens how to prepare and respond to active shooter situations. CRASE is based around the Avoid Deny Defend™ concept. This is an easy-to-remember three step plan for survival in the event of an active shooter or other public acts of violence. Each of these lifesaving stages will be discussed in detail. In addition, learn about the ways a person's body reacts under stress and how to combat that stress, which is vital to surviving a public act of violence.

This event is free and open to the public (age 16 and up only). Registration is required. Register online beginning April 1.

The presentation will begin promptly at 2 pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in.

Due to space limitations and sensitive content, children under the age of 16, including infants, will not be permitted at this event.
