Purpose and Membership

Purpose: The Library Board annually submits a five-year comprehensive library plan and makes recommendations concerning library policy, procedure, programs, services, grants, and fundraising.

Membership: Composed of seven regular members serving two-year terms, and one alternate member serving a one-year term. The alternate member may vote if a regular member is absent. Liaisons to the Board include high school students in the the Pflugerville Independent School District.

If you are interested in serving on a board or commission, you may submit the required application at any time. Regular interviews are conducted in early December of each year for terms beginning the first of the following year.
