Fall events for tweens and teens

Post Date:10/04/2018

The Pflugerville Public Library has several events planned for tweens and teens in October.

Tweens can make DIY felt pumpkin bags during Tween Scene on October 17, from 4:30 - 5:15 p.m. Materials for the craft will be provided while supplies last. Ages 8 - 12 are welcome.

At Pfab Lab Teen Night on October 23, at 6 p.m. teens ages 12 - 18 can visit the Pfab Lab to paint a book themed pumpkin. Papier-mâché pumpkins will be provided while supplies last.

On October 30, from 6 - 8 p.m. teens and tweens can decorate a tote bag and enjoy snacks while watching the classic 1993 Halloween film Hocus Pocus (Walt Disney Pictures, Rated PG). Materials will be available while supplies last. Ages 8 - 18 are welcome.

There will also be an after hours event at the Heritage House Museum on October 30, from 7 - 9 p.m. Teens ages 12-18 are invited to solve the mystery of the Murder at the Skull Manor Costume Ball. Registration is required. Register and pick up your character packet at the library checkout desk beginning October 1. This event will take place at the Heritage House Museum at 901 Old Austin Hutto Rd. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early as late arrivals may result in running out of time to complete the mystery. Teens must be picked up by 9 p.m. Dinner will not be served at this event.
