Each year Pflugerville Public Library celebrates April as National Poetry Month with a poetry contest and other events such as a Poetry Reading and poetry writing workshop. 

Annual poetry month contest
  • Submissions for the poetry writing contest will be accepted starting February 15, 2020. 
  • Poetry submission deadline extended until April 18, 2020.
  • Library card holders 18 and up can enter.
  • Prizes sponsored by the Friends of the Pflugerville Public Library.

  • Postponed until further notice.
  • Entries from the poetry contest read by their authors as well as works by members of the Pflugerville Poetry Society. Anyone 18 and up welcome to attend.
