Pflugerville Public Library has a vibrant team of 150+ volunteers.
Volunteering provides a great opportunity for individuals to serve their community and to expand their knowledge about the library.
Interested in volunteering at the Pflugerville Public Library?
Library staff are often looking for volunteers to assist staff with a variety of library activities. These positions usually require the ability to bend, lift boxes and books, use a hand held scanning device, and/or to stand for periods of time. Volunteers are recruited, interviewed and trained at the library.
You must be at least 16 years old to apply. We ask that you can commit to volunteering one day a week, for 2-3 hours per week. Due to the nature of the jobs and the training involved, a commitment of at least 6 months is preferred for most volunteer jobs. Court mandated community service requests cannot be met at the Pflugerville Public Library.
Questions? Email Billie Millar or call the Library at 512-990-6375.

Summer Reading Program Volunteens
Teens ages 16-17 can apply to volunteer during the Summer Reading Program. SRP Volunteens assist library staff with children’s programs, help prepare crafts, straighten the children’s room, and answer questions about the Summer Reading Program. Most importantly, Volunteens encourage children to have a great time at the library!
Applications will be available in the Spring. Download a Volunteen brochure to learn more.
