Learn about library services for children with special needs.

The Library welcomes children of all abilities to enjoy our books, services, and activities. If your child will require special accommodations during their visit to the library or at an event, please email or call the Library at 512-990-6375 to make arrangements. We will do our best to meet your needs.

Social Story

Sometimes, visiting a library can be intimidating to children. Download a social story to help prepare your child for their visit to the library.

Wiggle Worm Storytime

Wiggle Worm Storytime is an inclusive and interactive program designed for children that have special needs, whether they have been officially diagnosed or not. The activities are planned at a pre-k developmental level, but all ages are welcome. Children will enjoy fun movement activities, music, and interactive books, followed by sensory activities and crafts.

We meet monthly from September through May. Visit our online calendar for dates and times.

Wiggle Worm Storytime is presented by librarians Amanda Cawthon and Melissa Gryzbowski. We welcome your feedback and suggestions. For more information, please email or call the Library at 512-990-6375.
