Did you know the Library has a room just for teens? Whether you want to read a book, study, use a computer, or play video games, we have a space for you. Although adults and children are always welcome to come in to browse for books, the seating and computers are reserved for teens ages 13-18.
The Teen Space has 8 computers equipped with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel. Six of the computers are also loaded with Clip Studio Paint Pro software. All public computers have access to a printer. Teens can sign on to the computers with their library account. If a teen does not have a card, their adult guardian can request a guest pass for them at the checkout desk.
Games & Music
The library owns a Nintendo Switch and a record player for use in the Teen Space. Teens interested in using either one can ask at the checkout desk if youth services librarian, Amanda Cawthon, is available to turn them on.
